Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Anisocial. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post (ratings, comments, chat, notes, etc.). By posting, you grant Anisocial a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and distribute your content solely to operate, provide and improve the App. You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or infringing content.
• Spoil episodes outside spoiler-gated areas or spam the chat and comments.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, disrupt or interfere with the App or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation.

5. Third-party content

The App displays metadata (titles, images, synopses, air dates) from third-party sources such as MyAnimeList and AniList. Anisocial is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those services. All trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertising, including through Google AdSense. Advertisers and their partners may use cookies and similar technologies to measure performance and serve personalized ads, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The App’s software, design, logos and original content are owned by Anisocial and protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the App.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anisocial and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the App or its users. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
